Watched: The Odyssey 🍿
Yea, this movie ruled. But I also got the chance to see it in all its glory, on a 70mm IMAX screen. Was not a local screening, took 90 minutes there and back to see it in the best format, which is as long as the movie itself. It was still worth it, even with a fire alarm interruption halfway into the movie. If you have a chance to see this movie and its Greek myth epic at scale, it’s worth it. Too bad there are only like 40 (if even?) theaters to see it the way Nolan intended. But there’s plenty of that commentary to be found. Still, worth seeing in a movie theater where the story and scale keep you glued and in motion.
